THE ARYANNA CREATIVE FUND

Because creativity can give us a voice when words are hard to find.

About The Aryanna Creative Fund

The Aryanna Creative Fund is a program of The Aryanna Frye Foundation created to help people pursue meaningful creative interests, projects, education, and opportunities. The Fund reflects Aryanna’s own creativity and the Foundation’s belief that art and self-expression can help people find their voice, pursue a dream, build confidence, and create something meaningful.

What the Creative Fund May Support

As Foundation funding allows, the Creative Fund may provide assistance for approved creative projects, supplies, equipment, education, workshops, and other opportunities that help an applicant develop or pursue a creative goal.

  •  Writing and poetry projects

  •  Photography and photography equipment

  •  Art and art supplies

  •  Music and approved music-related creative opportunities

  •  Writing, editing, publishing, or printing expenses

  •  Creative workshops, classes, or educational opportunities

  •  Supplies or equipment reasonably necessary for an approved creative project

  •  Other approved creative or artistic opportunities consistent with the Fund’s purpose

Who May Apply

Eligibility requirements will be stated when applications open. Applicants do not necessarily need to be enrolled in a college, school, or formal training program. The Creative Fund is intended to consider the creative goal or project itself, why it matters to the applicant, the applicant’s commitment to pursuing it, financial need, and the potential impact of Foundation support.

How Funding Works

The amount and number of Creative Fund awards will depend on available Foundation funding. Submitting an application does not guarantee assistance. Approved funding must be used only for the purpose approved by The Aryanna Frye Foundation.

When practical, the Foundation may pay an approved vendor, instructor, program, publisher, or other provider directly. The Foundation may request reasonable documentation, such as an estimate, invoice, program information, or other verification, before issuing approved assistance.

What We Want to Learn About You

The application will focus on the person and the creative goal rather than requiring a perfect resume or traditional path. Applicants may be asked to describe what they want to create or pursue, why the opportunity matters to them, what steps they have already taken, what funding is needed for, and how support from the Creative Fund could help.

Optional Creative Work

Applicants may have the opportunity to share an optional portfolio, website, social-media page, work sample, or other example of their creativity. Supporting work should not be required unless a particular application opportunity specifically states otherwise.

Privacy

Application information will be used to evaluate and administer Creative Fund requests. Applicants should share only information they are comfortable providing. Applying does not give The Aryanna Frye Foundation permission to publicly share an applicant’s name, photograph, story, creative work, or application responses. Separate permission would be requested before any public use.
